FAQ'S REGARDING STADIUM ENTRY 2008/09

FOR SEASON TICKET HOLDERS

Q How is my card different to last season?
A Your card has a chip inside it known as an RFID chip (similar to an oyster card). This will work in a similar
way to the card you had last season.

Q What happens when I get to the turnstiles?
A When you approach the turnstile you will need to hold your card over the reader (orange area) and walk
through the turnstile.

Q What happens if I lose/forget my Season Ticket card or if I encounter a problem?
A Please visit the box office with proof of identity no later than 2 hours before the kick off and we
will be able to issue duplicate tickets (providing the tickets have not already been used). There will be a
£5.00 charge per ticket. The box office will check that your ticket has not been used on the day of the
match before duplicate tickets are issued. Only the Season Ticket holder can collect duplicate tickets (with
proof of identification). If you arrive less than 2 hours before kick off the tickets will not be replaced or
refunded.

Q How much do I have to pay for a duplicate Season Ticket?
A The charge is £25. You will need to contact the call centre to report your card lost/stolen and they will put
you through to the box office. Your Season Ticket can only be collected at the box office and will not be
sent out in the post. Only the Season Ticket holder can collect the replacement Season Ticket with the
relevant proof of identification.

Q My card appears to be faulty what do I do?
A Please speak to the nearest steward who will be able to assist you or alternatively visit the box office.

Q Will cup tickets I purchase be loaded onto my Season Ticket card?
A No you will still receive paper tickets for the Champions League/FA Cup and Carling Cup matches. Each
match must be ordered in the priority booking period that will be allowed. Full details will be on the
Chelsea website.

Q Will I be able to gain re-admittance on my Season Ticket card?
A No. Once you are in the stadium you will not be able to gain re-admittance.

Q I have purchased concession tickets. Should I carry proof of age?
A Yes. The turnstile will indicate to the staff inside that a concession is coming through. They will be able to
ask for proof of age at anytime.

Q Can I still collect TeamCard points?
A Yes your new Season Ticket card will still allow you to collect TeamCard points on purchases made in the
Chelsea megastore and all other outlets (excluding ticketing).

Q Will my membership card get me into the turnstile or will I receive a match ticket?
A You will continue to receive match tickets in paper form with a barcode.

Q Why do I need a membership card?
A The membership card is compulsory as it stores your details and your membership details. It is also
compulsory to carry your membership card when you are collecting/purchasing tickets at the box office.
This is important as this is also the way of using TeamCard points.

Q My tickets have not arrived what do I do?
A Please visit the box office with proof of identity no later than 2 hours before the kick off and we will be
able to issue duplicate tickets (providing the tickets have not already been used). The box office will check
that your ticket has not been used on the day of the match before duplicate tickets are issued. Only the
customer who purchased the tickets can collect duplicate tickets (with proof of identification). If you arrive
less than 2 hours before kick off the tickets will not be replaced or refunded.

Q Will I be able to gain re-admittance on my match tickets?
A No. Once you are in the stadium you will not be able to gain re-admittance.

Q How is my card different to last season?

A When you approach the turnstile you will need to hold your card over the reader (orange area) and walk
through the turnstile.

Q What happens if I lose/forget my Season Ticket card?
A If you forget or have a problem with your card, depending on which area your seats are located, you will
need to go to East stand or Millennium receptions to obtain a paper ticket for the match. However, this
will only be issued once the system has been checked to confirm that your card has not already been used
that day.

Q How much do I have to pay for a duplicate Season Ticket?
A You will need to contact the Hospitality Sales Department to report your card lost/stolen and there will be a
charge of £30.

Q My card appears to be faulty what do I do?
A Depending on where your seats are located, you will need to got to East stand or Millennium reception to
check your card.

Q Will cup tickets I purchase be loaded onto my Season Ticket card?
A All hospitality customers will have FA Cup and Carling Cup matches loaded onto their card. East Stand
customers will also have Champions League home group stages.

Q Will I be able to gain re-admittance on my Season Ticket card?
A No. Once you are in the stadium you will not be able to gain re-admittance.

Q Can I still collect TeamCard points?
A Yes your new Season Ticket card will still allow you to collect TeamCard points on purchases made in the
Chelsea megastore and other outlets (excluding ticketing).
