EMPTY THOUGHTS
Slightly confused by Arsene Wenger's analysis of Didier Drogba - that the Drog doesn't really do all that much and that he just happens to be in one of those patches of form where he only has to connect with the ball to score.
Ah, yes: one of THOSE patches of form.
A quiet game for the Drog? I mean, apart from the two goals and the fact that he was scaring the life out of Vermaelen to create the third, wasn't he kind of... everywhere? Indeed, I seem to remember him cropping up deep in our half and attempting a horrifying back-pass to Petr Cech which Arsenal might have turned into something, if they had any forwards as quick and strong and single-minded and, you know, just
basically willing to shoot, as the Drog.
But if that was a little bit of post-match ungraciousness on Wenger's part, we should be understanding about it. The Drog had just emptied his stadium. Again.
Incidentally, what's the definition of a shrewd Arsenal fan? Someone who stays to the end to beat the rush.
