Luiz Felipe Scolari has not long to wait to find out the opposition for his first competitive fixture in charge of Chelsea. The new Barclays Premier League fixtures are announced on Monday morning.

The full league programme for the whole season will be unveiled, including our first ever top flight fixtures against last season's Carling Cup opponents Hull City, and our first league encounters against Stoke City since the 1988/89 season.

We last faced the Potteries side in the top flight 23 years ago.

Chelsea have been handed a Stamford Bridge opening weekend fixture in three out of the last four seasons.

The 2008/09 fixtures will be revealed on chelseafc.com on Monday morning at approximately 10am.
