IT'S A GRAND SLAM FOR CHELSEA FC's HOTELS
Tennis is coming to Stamford Bridge this summer with the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club announced as the officially approved hotels to The Championships, Wimbledon 2008.
Having recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment, the luxury hotels will offer top players and officials both stylish and relaxing accommodation away from the on-court pressures at Wimbledon.
The 275 rooms across both hotels will provide all the high quality specifications required including wifi broadband, flat screen TVs and video on demand. Additional amenities within Stamford Bridge also include Marco, the critically acclaimed restaurant by chef Marco Pierre White and luxury health and fitness facilities at the Chelsea Club.
Richard Oxborrow, Championships' co-ordinator at the All England Club, said: 'We are pleased to link up with the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea.
'With the excellent location, the high standard of the accommodation and the number of rooms available - not to mention the additional facilities on offer at Stamford Bridge - Millennium & Copthorne were the ideal hotel solution.'
In addition the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels have become the Official Partner Hotel of the prestigious Artois Championships which was held at the Queen's Club last week.
