FIRST TEAM FIXTURE AMENDMENTS
Chelsea's first five games of the season have been moved due to live television coverage on Sky Sports and Setanta Sports.
Our first game of the season against Portsmouth, originally dated for Saturday August 16, will now take place on Sunday August 17, with a 1.30pm kick off; full coverage will be available on Sky Sports.
After that, our next two games against Wigan Athletic away (Setanta) and Tottenham Hotspur at home (Sky), have been moved to Sunday August 24 and Sunday August 31 respectively. Both games will have a 1.30pm kick off.
Manchester City away will now kick off at 5.30pm on Saturday 13 September, live on Setanta Sports. While Manchester United, our fifth game of the season, will now take place on Sunday September 21, kick off at 2pm, live on Sky Sports.
Other games moved due to television coverage include Middlesbrough away, which will now kick off at 12.45pm on Saturday October 18, live on Sky Sports.
Liverpool away will now be played on Sunday October 26, with a 1.30pm kick off live on Sky Sports.
Blackburn Rovers away has also been moved to a Sunday, November 9, with a 1.30pm kick off, there will be full coverage live on Sky Sports.
The London derby against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge will now take place on Sunday November 30, with a 4pm kick off, this game will be covered on Sky Sports.
