Two new Chelsea members were lucky enough to win the 'money can't buy' prize of watching the first team squad in training at Cobham on Friday.

As Luiz Felipe Scolari and his staff put the players through their last workout before flying to China on Sunday, they were watched by competition winners Melanie Whitton and Amy Gatherer, as well as their guests.

The two ladies signed up to become True Blues in the last week, gaining automatic entry to the competition, and were then handed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of seeing the team in action.

What they did see was impressive stuff, as the players entered into a match practice situation after a warm-up and shuttle run routine.

As Scolari begins to consider possible line-ups and formations for the first friendly in China on July 23, he tried out a number of combinations on the field, including the introduction of younger players such as Michael Mancienne and Sergio Tejera.
