Chelsea's Jack Cork captained England Under 19s to a 3-0 victory over Greece last night in the final Group B game.

The win means England have now secured a place in the Under 20 World Cup, which will happen in Egypt in September.

Chelsea youth Ryan Bertrand began at right-back for his nation, while goals from Ben Mee, Freddie Sears and Manchester City's FA Youth Cup finalist Daniel Sturridge sealed victory against the Greeks with three second half goals.

Scott Sinclair then replaced second-goal-scorer Sears in the 83rd minute to strengthen the Chelsea contingent in the side.

Unfortunately the impressive performance was not enough to seal further progression in the European competition, as the Under 19s were relying on Czech Republic beating Italy.

But with the Italians winning 4-3, England's hopes of facing either Germany or Hungary in the final four were crushed.
