Ticket sale dates for Chelsea's first game of the 2008/09 season against Portsmouth have been announced.

Seats for the game, which takes place at Stamford Bridge with a 1.30pm kick off, will go on sale to members this Thursday, July 24, and are available from 7am online or 9am through the box office and call centre.

Members and season ticket holders will then be able to purchase a further two tickets each, with a maximum of three per person, from Monday July 28.

After that, from Monday August 4, tickets will go on general sale.
