TRAINING WITH A TWIST
Chelsea's goalkeepers took part in an alternative training session this week, soaking up the local Chinese culture with a game of badminton.
The sport is huge all over Asia, including Malaysia where the team heads next and China, with the country boasting the world's top players in both male and female categories.
With space limited inside the team hotel, Petr Cech, Carlo Cudicini, Hilario and their coach Christophe Lollichon took to the courts for a workout, while the outfield players worked on more conventional ball skills.

In what turned out to be a fantastic agility exercise, Cech took on Cudicini in a competitive match while Hilario and Lollichon enjoyed a slightly more leisurely game.
All four showed plenty of natural ability, but will be better off sticking to saving shots than smashing shuttlecocks. With more time to come in the Far East before heading on to Moscow, the players will no doubt be hoping for another chance to test their skills.
