BLUES GIVEN OLYMPIC APPROVAL
The squad's second training session on Friday was held under the floodlights in front of both fans and media, as well as members of the British Olympic team.
Both the men's hockey and ladies' gymnastic teams were at the Macau Stadium to meet the players, and were almost as starstruck as the thousand or so fans that turned up to see the stars.
World champion gymnast Beth Tweddle (pictured below centre in front of Frank Lampard), a Blues fan and major medal hope at the Games, was delighted to meet her favourite Chelsea men, before casting a professional eye over Luiz Felipe Scolari's training session.

'My favourite players are John Terry and Frank Lampard,' she began. 'We had been told we might be able to come and see the Chelsea guys in training, and it is very interesting just to see how their methods differ from our own.'
Like Chelsea, the two squads are new arrivals in Macau, and the 23-year-old was able to explain their presence in the city.
'We are here in Macau which is our holding camp before the Beijing Olympics, to get acclimatised and get used to the heat and time difference. We only arrived two days ago so we're just getting over the jet lag, and we move to Beijing in a week's time.'
As for her Chelsea passion, she admits her interest is only part-time, due to commitment for elite competition.
'I am a Chelsea fan, just through family. I followed my brother who I looked up to when I was younger.
I've always kept an eye on them, but can't get to see them that much because I am always training, but I make sure I see the games on TV,' she explained.
No doubt she will be tuning in on Saturday night as we take on the Chengdu Blades, and in preparation, Scolari's men had a tough work out, the second of the day.
Played out in slightly lesser heat under the floodlights, the squad had a quick game of keep-ball before playing an 11-a-side match, with space reduced to half a pitch.
There was plenty of fan involvement too, with any major action met with a reaction from the crowd.
After the game, a few of Deco's free-kicks and Andriy Shevchenko's smart finishes were cause for special cheers, before the players departed for a final stretch.
