DATES SET FOR EURO TIES
The dates have been announced for the Champions League group stage games following a draw that places Chelsea with Roma, Bordeaux and Romanian side CFR Cluj.
The dates of the games are as follows:
Tuesday 16 September - Bordeaux (home)
Wednesday 1 October - Cluj (away)
Wednesday 22 October - Roma (home)
Tuesday 4 November - Roma (away)
Wednesday 26 November - Bordeaux (away)
Tuesday 9 December - Cluj (home)
Petr Cech, John Terry and Frank Lampard, all winners of Uefa Club Footballer of the Year awards, assisted in the draw in Monaco this afternoon (Thursday).

It will be the first time Chelsea have faced the team from the Italian capital in European competition since 1965 when we beat Roma over two heated legs in the Inter Cities Fairs Cup. The Stadio Olimpico will also host this season's final.
Bordeaux, who finished second in the French league, are new opponents.
Romanian Champions Cluj will also be fresh opponents and the first team we have played from that country. The newcomers are from the Transylvania region.
Peter Kenyon gave his reaction immediately after the draw:
'As an overall group, when you look at the teams that were in the pots, we've got a very good draw,' said the chief executive.
'You can't take any of the teams for granted, and I am sure the manager will do his homework, but you have to say that we should qualify.
'Cluj are least known about, but they are Romanian champions and are in the Champions League for the first time, so that brings with it its own challenges. It will be a fanatical crowd I would guess and each of the teams will bring good games.'
