After Chelsea's 4-0 thumping of Portsmouth in August, our upcoming Carling Cup draw should prove to be an eventful match.

And the ticket sale dates for this game have just been announced for anyone planning to venture to Fratton Park for our second meeting with Pompey this season on Wednesday 24 September.

On Friday 5 September, supporters on the UK Away Scheme will be able to buy one ticket each, but this is not a compulsory purchase and anyone who's not able to buy a ticket will not be removed from the scheme.

Season ticket holders will be able to secure their seat for the game on Monday 8 September before members can buy one ticket each from Wednesday 10 September.

Then, if there are any remaining seats by Friday 12 September, season ticket holders and members can purchase an extra two tickets each, with a maximum of three tickets per person.

Priced at £20 for adults, £10 for senior citizens and £5 for juniors, tickets are available from 7am online or 9am through the box office and call centre.
