Chelsea Community's Disability sides kicked off their season at our Cobham training complex recently with a series of friendly games between the club's football+ disability squads.

This season, the Limbless Association and Chelsea FC Football in the Community's disability programme has attracted record numbers, further confirming our commitment to working with players who have been traditionally excluded and disadvantaged within communities across London and Surrey.

A lot of the new players on show really impressed Rob Seale, Head of the Football+ programme.

'We have some excellent players who have joined our youth, college and adult teams this year.We have also established one of the strongest female disability sides in the country,' he confirmed.

'The record numbers we have in our squads this year suggests we have an exciting season ahead. We wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for the fantastic work of our coaches and volunteers.Special thanks must go to Ashley Jordan-Diaper and Andy McElroy for their continued commitment in developing new football opportunities for our players.'
