First-half
Kick- off CFR Cluj
2 Slip Mikel concedes possession in midfield, forcing Petr Cech to race from his goal to clear ahead of Sebastien Dubarbier. Early warning that concentration must be kept.
4 Shot First effort of the game from Salomon Kalou, whose meek effort is comfortably held by the home goalkeeper.
5 Strength Yssouf Koné demonstrates his power by holding off John Terry and attempting to curl a lob over Petr Cech, but sees his effort drop well over the bar.
12 Effort Eugen Trica shoots just over from distance. So far Chelsea have had the more possession but Cluj are holding their own.
21 Signs of a return Didier Drogba receives the ball on the edge of the box, spins and shoots. His shot is off target but it is an encouraging action.
23 Shot Bosingwa breaks forward down the right, eventually finding Mikel whose shot is tame but makes the goalkeeper work.
25 Save Cech again dives to deny Zaki, who had fired a left-footed shot towards goal after a slick CFR Cluj move. CFR Cluj currently find themselves well on top, with only Titus Bramble in his own half.
26 Danger Best chance of the game so far, and it was for the home side. Dubarbier lofted the ball into space for Trica inside the box, but he misjudges and fails to connect. Cech gathers.
33 Repeat This time Trica does connect at the far post, but the chance is far harder and he powers his shot wide.
35 Surge Alvaro Perreira bombs forward from the left-back position for Cluj, and fires a shot just wide of Cech's right-hand post. The goalkeeper was worried, as Luiz Felipe Scolari may be. The defender had a lot of time and space to progress.
37 Yellow card Alex is cautioned for bringing down Yssouf Koné just inside the Chelsea half.
40 Miskick Drogba swings and misses his volley after Lampard pulled the ball back from a free-kick on the corner of the Cluj box.
Half-time: CFR Cluj 0 Chelsea 0
Chelsea Substitution: Nicolas Anelka replaces Salomon Kalou.
Second-half
Kick-off Chelsea
47 Tested Cluj hit the target for the first time, as Gabriel Muretan curls a free-kick on target. Cech parries but gathers before there is danger.
50 Linking up Anelka, Lampard and Drogba all combine, as the Frenchman eventually crosses to the near post. Cluj clear it behind but the corner comes to nothing.
51 Wide Drogba misses the target with his flicked header after Wayne Bridge had crossed. Bridge is starting due to Ashley Cole experiencing pain in the lower back.
55 Concern Didier Drogba goes down and remains on the ground for some time inside the Cluj box, eventually being stretchered off the pitch. Juliano Belletti replaces him as Scolari reshuffles.
70 Booking Alvaro Perreira is the game's first booking after tangling with John Mikel Obi.
73 Chelsea substitution Franco Di Santo replaces the low-key Florent Malouda. With his first touch he beats the keeper to the ball but heads just wide.
79 Close Juan Culio fashions a chance for himself after beating Ballack, and curls goalwards. Half of the crowd thinks it's in, but the shot is just wide. The noise is deafening.
83 Wide Belletti gets into an advanced position, but shoots wide after Lampard had lifted a ball into the channel for him to chase.
86 Save Cech, for so long just an interested spectator, pulls off a superb reflex save, pushing Koné's drive around his near post.
87 Denied Bridge crosses and the ball falls at Anelka's feet, but before he can pull the trigger the ball is cleared by Alvaro Perreira. Cluj replace Trica with Didi.
89 Yellow card Dani is booked for tripping Belletti who had broken clear.
90+1 Agonising The ball drops on the edge of the area, and Lampard fires low, but just wide.

Comment
This was Chelsea's first ever match in Romania, and CFR Cluj's first ever home Champions League match.
We are still to win away in Europe since Rosenborg on November 28, 2007. Since then we have drawn at Olympiacos, lost at Fenerbahce and drawn at Liverpool.
That defeat against Fenerbahce was the last loss suffered by Chelsea. Since then we are 19 games unbeaten after this match, with eight wins two draws on the road.
This was the first time we have failed to score since losing at Barnsley in March, and our first 0-0 since Olympiacos in February.
