CHELSEA NEEDS OUR JUNIOR BLUES
Chelsea is calling all junior Blues who want to express their views outside of singing at the games.
If you love talking Chelsea and have opinions on more than just the best striker and who we should buy next then the club has just the thing, and we'll even throw in two tickets for the Arsenal match at the Bridge.
For four years, Chelsea has talked to our adult supporters via a Fans' Forum, but now we want to hear from our young voices as well.
We are looking for junior Blues between the ages of seven and 16 years old to help make supporting Chelsea better for you and your friends by helping us generate fresh ideas.
A similar format will be adopted as the senior Fans' Forum, with the aims of the children's forum being:
- To establish a dialogue between the club and junior fans
- To develop a better understanding of issues that affect junior supporters
- To provide an opportunity for the club to discuss new ideas
The first Children's Fan Forum will take place at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 30 November, on the morning of the home match against Arsenal, and as thanks for taking part in the forum, we would like to give each child who is selected two tickets for the Arsenal match.
The Forum will combine age groups from a range of backgrounds that reflects the diverse nature of Chelsea's support. Representatives will be drawn from a variety of supporters, including season ticket holders, club members and non-members.
Chelsea will be working closely with an external company called Childwise with whom we will be conducting each Forum. Childwise is an established market research company who have extensive experience in dealing with children of all ages.
When do the meetings take place?
There will be two meetings a season, taking place at the stadium on home match days, prior to kick-off.
The first meeting is on 30 November, followed by another meeting in the spring.
