Reserve team member Michael Woods began the programme of international fixtures for Chelsea players with an England win on Wednesday.
The midfielder was representing England Under 19s in their opening game in a European Championship preliminary tournament.
Woods, who had been on stand-by for the original squad but was brought in after injury ruled out Tottenham's Danny Rose, played the full 90 minutes of a 3-0 victory over Albania in Northern Ireland.
Goals came from Man United's Danny Drinkwater, Aston Villa's Nathan Delfouneso and Henri Lansbury of Arsenal. Another Chelsea midfielder, Jacob Mellis, is a recent call-up to the Under 19 squad but did not feature in the game.
England play Northern Ireland on Friday and Serbia on Monday.
