On his 60th birthday (happy birthday boss!), Felipe Scolari makes one change to the team that started in Rome.

Joe Cole is unfit so Salomon Kalou comes in on the right of the midfield.

There is no Didier Drogba so Franco Di Santo is the central striker on the bench. Mineiro is also among the subs.

Blackburn make changes with Morten Gamst Pedersen coming into the side. The Norwegian will be up against José Bosingwa, the Chelsea defender having expressed his admiration for his opponent earlier in the season.

Carlos Villanueva is also added to midfield and Zurab Khizanishvili is a change in defence.

Roque Santa Cruz remains out injured and Benni McCarthy is suspended so Jason Roberts is the lone striker.

Chelsea will line-up in a 4-1-4-1 formation as follows:

1 Petr Cech
17 José Bosingwa
33 Alex
26 John Terry (c)
18 Wayne Bridge

39 Nicolas Anelka

Substitutes: 23 Carlo Cudicini, 2 Branislav Ivanovic, 19 Paulo Ferreira, 35 Juliano Belletti, 27 Mineiro, 16 Scott Sinclair 9 Franco Di Santo.
