Comment On his 60^th birthday, Felipe Scolari is forced into one change, Joe Cole unfit so Salomon Kalou comes in on the right. Didier Drogba is also absent. Heavy rain during the first briefly puts the game in danger as surface water hampers play but it eases before the break. The second half lacks the pace of the first but the deserved win never looks in doubt after Cech saves soon after the interval. Both keepers have good games while Anelka's goals take him to 11 for the season, his nine in the league putting him clear as top-flight leading scorer. Back on top and our record nine game Premier League away win sequence is equalled.
