Chelsea fans have voted José Bosingwa as the Etihad Airways Player of the Month for October.

A summer signing from Porto, the full-back scored his first goal for the club at the end of September against Stoke. Bosingwa has played his part in a mean Chelsea defence throughout the month of October, when we conceded just one goal in six matches.

It has been in the opposition half that he has really caught the eye though, being involved in much of the positive football played by Luiz Felipe Scolari's squad last month, which saw us record league wins over Hull, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, as well as a crucial victory against Roma in the Champions League.
