Chelsea Football Club is celebrating the holidays this year by hosting an evening of song and Christmas cheer for fans at Stamford Bridge, with a carol concert and Christmas fete on Wednesday 17th December. Doors open from 4.30pm, carol concert from 6pm.

The concert will be headlined by special guests 'Only Men Aloud', winners of BBC's Last Choir Standing (pictured below) and a host of children's choirs from local schools.

It is hoped that fans will lift the roof off the West Stand with their singing and also get into the spirit of the season in true blue style with the current first team players helping out where they can with the carol singing.

Subject to training or other commitments, members of the playing and coaching staff will also be present to introduce proceedings.

A selection of Christmas stalls will be set up in the West Stand concourse, hosting Chelsea themed activities and entertainment to keep kids and families amused before the concert begins. Hot food and drinks will be available to purchase and the Megastore will be open until 9pm so fans can do some last minute Christmas shopping.

The event is free but tickets will need to be obtained in advance as numbers are limited. Tickets are available online from Wednesday 19th November at 9am, so to avoid disappointment fans are advised to apply as soon as the tickets are ready.

For families able to get to the Bridge early, Frankie's Sports Bar and Grill will be open and there is the opportunity to take the kids on a stadium tour and get the inside knowledge about the players and the club from one of the club's renowned tour guides.
