Both Jack Cork and Ryan Bertrand made their England Under 21 debuts on Tuesday night as second-half substitutes.
The Academy products, both currently playing on-loan in the Championship, were part of a 2-0 friendly win over Czech Republic Under 21s in Sheffield, Cork introduced to the midfield on the hour, a replacement for Bolton's Fabrice Muamba, and left-back Bertrand (pictured above) on for Tottenham's Jamie O'Hara on 80 minutes.
Spurs striker Fraizer Campbell had scored England's goals before the changes. O'Hara also missed a penalty.
There was also twin Chelsea involvement further down the England age groups with reserve team squad members Jacob Mellis (pictured below left) and Michael Woods used in an Under 19 friendly win over Germany in Colchester.

Midfielder Mellis, who started the game, came within inches of scoring as a first-half free-kick dropped his way. Woods was a sub with 15 minutes remaining. Arsenal's Henri Lansbury scored the only goal.
