STAMFORD ON ICE
Stamford the Lion was celebrating an ice cool offer today by skating outside the Natural History Museum.
The club's mascot displayed his skills on the Ice Rink outside the London attraction and rejoiced at the new partnership between Chelsea and England's most famous museum.
Chelsea has teamed up with the Natural History Museum to offer a fantastic two for one discount on either a stadium tour at Stamford Bridge or ice skating at the Natural History ice rink, on Monday to Friday through January.
You can redeem the offer by simply buying a full price ticket at either attraction.
'This is a fantastic deal for Blues young and old,' said Stamford.
'It's great for me too, because I get to show off my fancy footwork on the ice, something all the football practice has helped with,' he added.
The official stadium tour at the Bridge gives fans a unique insight into the club with the opportunity to sit in the dugouts, explore the newly refurbished museum and follow in the footsteps of their heroes by walking down the tunnel to the roar of 42,000 fans.
Then you can then head to the Natural History Museum and embrace winter at the hugely popular ice rink.
The venue is lit by 76,000 glowing lights and set against the stunning backdrop of the world famous museum. Before or after skating you can relax at the on-site Café Bar and enjoy a hot chocolate or glass of wine while soaking up the atmosphere of one of the most popular ice skating rinks in the country.
