CORK LOAN TO WATFORD
Posted on: Fri 02 Jan 2009
Jack Cork has today joined Watford on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old spent the first half of the campaign with Southampton, where he made 25 appearances, including a 3-0 defeat against the Hornets back in October.
Cork, an England Under 21 international, links up with Chelsea team-mate Liam Bridcutt and former reserve team manager Brendan Rodgers, who took up the managerial role at Vicarage Road in November.
He spent last season on loan with Scunthorpe, where he won several Player of the Year awards.
