There's a fiery first Paperview of the new year on Chelsea TV this evening as opinions clash and transfers take a back seat.

Sports journalists Jason Burt (The Independent) and Martin Lipton (The Mirror) join presenter Gigi Salmon in the studio to review 2008 and look at the transfer speculation surrounding the club.

However, the show digresses slightly, and the two writers cover every topic concerning the Blues, including Joe Cole's season so far, how they were unsurprised by our result against Southend and Wayne Bridge's move to Manchester City.

Lipton exclusively reveals the club he believes to be 'barking mad' while looking ahead at one of the busiest months in the football calendar, all from 7pm.

The journalists assess Felipe Scolari's tenure before Lipton surprisingly reveals the one position where he believes the Blues need to strengthen.

Once everyone's view has been expressed, Burt and Lipton preview Sunday's fixture at Old Trafford, which they feel is a must-win game for the Red Devils.

Before that though, in Blues News at 6.30pm, John Mikel Obi and Ray Wilkins speak exclusively to Chelsea TV, with our assistant first team coach giving an expert's insight into the differences between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Mikel, who was voted Etihad's Player of the Month by the fans, gives an insider's opinion on training this week, ahead of the massive game this Sunday, and Wayne Bridge's departure.

'It is a bit tense today because obviously things haven't been going too well and we want to change one or two things,' said Mikel.

'But we have been like this all season. We have been training hard, every day we work very hard, and it is the same today. It was a good session.'

Also in the club's official news programme, director of communications and public affairs Simon Greenberg breaks down Chelsea's environmental commitments as he explains London's Green 500 campaign and there's another one of the Blues' great moments against Manchester United.
