2 Shot Malouda makes good contact with a Kalou ball into the box, but only manages to strike into Heaton's arms.
8 Shot Kalou collects a Borini chip over the defensive line and breaks down the right flank of the box, launching a shot along the floor into Heaton's arms.
10 Chance Borini heads a Zhirkov cross inches past the near post after breaking away from his marker, good move from Chelsea.
16 Shot Kalou sends a shot slicing through the QPR defence and into Heaton's arms.
18 Offside Borini is caught offside as J Cole tries to set him up with a ball over the top of the defensive line.

50 Shot Lampard sends a freekick ricocheting off the wall after Belletti is brought down 25 yards out from goal.
53 CHELSEA GOAL Kalou breaks into the box down the left and holds off the QPR defence before launching an inch-perfect, left-footed shot into the far corner. The Ivorian initially latched onto a J Cole ball.
57 Chance Borini breaks down the right and into the box, but as he's chased down, he's left with only a tight angle to shoot and Heaton deflects the shot from danger.
66 QPR substitution Taarabt comes on to replace for Vine.
69 Chelsea substitution A Cole comes on to replace Zhirkov.

Comment
Joe Cole returned to first team action following a long period of injury after a cruciate ligament injury, and he enjoyed a productive game for Chelsea while Yury Zhirkov began his first competitive game in a Chelsea shirt at left-back.
Youngsters Fabio Borini and Sam Hutchinson both secured first team starts tonight also.
It was a close game, which Chelsea began with relish as the youngsters stamped their authority on the game, but eventually was a close fought win for the Blues with Frank Lampard coming on at half time. John Terry and Ashley Cole also made an appearance later in the game.
