MATCHDAY TRAVEL NEWS
Anyone heading north for our Barclays Premier League clash with Wigan tomorrow may appreciate the following information.
If you're using National Rail services to get to the game then it's likely you're departing from London Euston. If you're planning to use London Underground services to get to this station then be aware the District Line will be suspended between Barking and Upminster.
There will be no service between Edgware Road and Barking on the Hammersmith and City Line or between Waterloo and Stanmore and North Greenwich and Stratford on the Jubilee Line.
The Metropolitan Line will be shut between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate while the Circle Line will have no service between Kings Cross and Moorgate. The Bakerloo Line will be closed between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone.
The entire Victoria Line and Waterloo and City Line will be suspended this weekend. There will be replacement bus services running for all these Underground services.
If you're using National Rail services to get to the game then you'll be pleased to hear there are no major engineering works planned between London and Wigan this weekend.
However, fans are advised to check their arrival and departure times through the National Rail website.
Anyone driving should note a traffic blackspot as you leave the M6 Toll to rejoin the M6 but other than that there are no major roadworks planned along the 205 mile journey, although fans are advised to check their route through either the AA or RAC websites before departure.
For more information or London Underground services, or roadworks in and around the capital, visit Transport for London's website.
