BRIDGE HOSTS MASTERCHEF
Stamford Bridge played host to a trio of cooking maestros in last night's Professional Masterchef, which saw contestants feeding some of the country's top athletes.
The three finalists embarked on a cook-off inside the stadium, where cricket star Kevin Pietersen and Olympic rower James Cracknell waited in one of the Millennium Boxes to sample their food.
Professional Masterchef is a cookery programme on BBC Two which sees everyday cooks competing to reach the top of the culinary world.
Last night's programme, which was recorded towards the end of last season, saw three finalists cooking one part of a three-course meal each.
The Stamford Bridge challenge was just one of a number of tasks created to distinguish who the eventual winner will be.
Double Michelin-star chef Michel Roux oversaw the contenders cooking inside the Bridge as the athletes prepared to watch Chelsea ply their trade on the hallowed turf.
'We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch,' said Pietersen, 'every single one of us wanted more.'
