JOSH STARTS AS ENGLAND WIN
Josh McEachran was a starter for England Under 17s as they won 6-2 against Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan on Monday morning.
The Chelsea midfield man wore the number 10 jersey, playing the first 54 minutes in the first game of European Championship qualifying, while schoolboy Nathaniel Chalobah was an unused substitute.
England are in action again on Wednesday against hosts of the four-team group, Azerbaijan, before meeting Serbia in the final game on Saturday.
The Finals will take place in May 2010 in Liechtenstein, but before then England need to progress from this first qualifying group in either of the top two positions and then top another four-team Elite group before the end of March.
McEachran has impressed in his three reserve team appearances this season.
