CHELSEA STATS
Chelsea are hoping to avoid a third successive away league defeat. The last occasion we were in a similar position was in September 2007 when back-to-back away defeats against Aston Villa (0-2) and Man Utd (0-2) was ended with a victory at Bolton. Salomon Kalou scored the only goal.

The last occasion the Blues lost three successive away PL games was in 2006 - the last two games of 2005/06 at Blackburn and Newcastle, both by the odd goal after the Premier League had been secured, and our first trip in 2006/07 to Middlesbrough when Mark Viduka scored an injury-time winner.

Five of Chelsea's eight Barclays Premier League goals conceded have been scored by defenders.

Barcelona was the last team to stop us scoring, in the goalless draw at Camp Nou in April, 22 games ago.
