Anyone heading to Bolton for the weekend's Barclays Premier League clash may appreciate the following information.

If you're using National Rail services to get to the Reebok Stadium then you'll probably be departing from London Euston. If you're using London Underground services to get to that station be aware the District Line will be shut between Tower Hill and Upney and from Barking to Tower Hill.

There'll be no service between King's Cross St Pancras and Barking on the Hammersmith and City Line, Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate on the Metropolitan Line and Queens Park and Willesden Junction on the Bakerloo Line.

The entire Circle Line, Jubilee Line and Waterloo and City Line will be closed this weekend. There are replacement buses running for all Underground services undergoing engineering works.

Anyone using National Rail services will be pleased to hear there are no major engineering works planned between London and Bolton, although you are advised to check arrival and departure times by clicking here.

Fans driving north should note a traffic blackspot as you leave the M6 Toll to rejoin the M6. Anyone driving is also advised to check their route before leaving through either the AA or RAC website.
