Recruited to run the London Marathon on behalf of Help a London Child, Chelsea mascot Stamford the Lion has been busy training. He spared us a few minutes to go through the ins and outs of his last seven days at Cobham.

The best goal I have seen this week…
John Terry told me to say all the England goals - and any team with lions on their shirt are alright in my book

The best save I have seen this week…
Hilario pulled off a worldy during shooting practice yesterday - quick like a cat .

The best training…
Me and the boys at Cobham yesterday - they invited me to join in ahead of the Stoke match and the manager worked us really hard.

Stamford

The worst training…
The Ivory Coast squad - they were here on Monday, they did couple of laps around the pitch, I turned round to get my autograph book and they had disappeared!

Funniest moment of the week…
Well for everyone else it was probably when Florent Malouda tried to tie my shoe laces together and the goalkeepers pushed me over!

My favourite sound this week…
I've got Eye of the Tiger on my mp3 player - it gets me going on those cold early mornings when I don't want to do marathon training.

Best food this week…
I've had to cut down on the raw meat but I'm allowed one steak per week and the chefs rustled me up a bit of buffalo the other day - absolutely delicious and not easy to catch around SW6 I can tell you.

Best entertainment...
Johnny and Lisa Breakfast Show on Capital FM - that Lisa Snowdon grrrrrrrrrrrrr - she's interviewing me next week. I can't wait.

The news story that stands out…
That there will be some crazy lion running the marathon - I was reluctant at first but when they told me it was for Help a London Child I couldn't refuse could I? You can read more about it on my personal page.

And a special mention goes to…
My personal trainers Darren and Ben in the Chelsea Club - they're both really pushing me but they're great guys. Also can I say Hilario? He made his debut for Portugal this week so I guess he must be purring.
