First half
Kick off
Chelsea.
2 Bright Chelsea start well forcing two early corners, Malouda eventually shooting well off target.
5 Scare A first sight of Stoke's long throw and Chelsea are nearly punished. Delap launches it, Huth wins the first header and Sidibe the second, but the forward heads over.
7 Target Anelka forces the first save from Sorensen, low to his left from a weak left-footed shot.
8 Block Good work from Alex as he prevents Sidibe from a certain goal at the far post after Fuller mishits.
14 Cleared Mikel knocks Whitehead's goalbound effort off the line after Hilario had punched Delap's second long throw of the afternoon.
22 Wide Ferreira shoots wide from range after cutting inside. A goal looks unlikely at the moment.
28 Chance Anelka drags his shot wide of the far post after dispossessing Whitehead inside the Stoke area. Had it been on his right foot he would have expected to score.
31 Block What a challenge from Alex on Tuncay, denying a shooting opportunity as the Turk bore down on goal after Delap had won a tackle in the midfield to release the winger.
34 CHELSEA GOAL A little pressure pays off, and Lampard's shot is deflected in after Terry's lays a loose ball into the midfielder's path following a Chelsea corner.
42 Danger Well there should have been. Stoke are given a contentious free-kick on the edge of the Chelsea area, which Tuncay fires high into the Matthew Harding end.
44 Stoke sub Glenn Whelan is replaced in midfield by Danny Pugh, who moves to the left, Tuncay shifts across to the right.
Stoppage time 3 minutes.
45+1 Save Sorensen denies Drogba with a superb low save at his right-hand post after the forward volleys towards goal.

Second half
Kick off
Stoke.
48 Chance Long throw. This time it's from Chelsea, as Ivanovic launches one into the area, the ball eventually dropping to Lampard whose half-volley is too high.
52 Shot Drogba sends a free-kick into Sorensen's arms from the right-hand corner of the Stoke area.
60 Stoke subs Lawrence and Kitson replace Tuncay and Sidibe in straight swaps.
64 Danger Huth, formerly of Chelsea, heads a corner well wide of Hilario's goal.
66 Denied He doesn't get many with his head, but Anelka should score there, after Drogba tees him up with a delicate cross. The header is blocked by a defender and goes behind for a corner.
67 CHELSEA GOAL The first corner is half dealt with, but the second comes across from Malouda and Terry heads home.
74 Shot Great effort from Lampard 30 yards out, his shot arcing towards the top corner until Sorensen pushes it behind.
79 Close Abdoulaye Faye heads a Lawrence free-kick up and onto the top of the Chelsea net, had Hilario scurrying backwards.
83 Denied Sorensen rushes out to block Kalou who had beaten the offside trap.
85 Yellow card First one of the game goes to Terry for a tug on Fuller's shirt.
88 Wide Lampard slips Anelka through and it looks like being a third as he strokes it past Sorensen, but somehow the ball goes wide of the post. Hilario saves from Fuller at the other end.

Comment

Without a number of regulars, Carlo Ancelotti still went strong with his line-up, Alex replacing Ricardo Carvalho at centre-half, Paulo Ferreira in at left-back, and Florent Malouda moving to midfield to replace the suspended Michael Ballack.

Ballack and Juliano Belletti were both serving one-game bans for their red cards against Manchester City last weekend, they will be available next weekend's visit of West Ham.

Chelsea have now suffered just one defeat in our last 22 FA Cup matches - at Barnsley in 2008.

Stoke's last victory against us was at Stamford Bridge in 1995 in the League Cup second round when Paul Peschisolido scored the only goal.

John Terry's was our 100th goal in all competitions this season, we need another 22 to beat our record 121 in a season set in 1964/65. We have only achieved 100 goals on 10 previous occasions including five of the last six seasons.

Frank Lampard now needs four more goals to equal our joint third highest scorers in our history Peter Osgood and Roy Bentley on 150.
