Next month marks the 40th anniversary of one of Chelsea's greatest-ever triumphs - the 1970 FA Cup Final victory over Leeds United.

To mark the occasion, Chelsea magazine is looking for fans' input into a retrospective feature on the first time the Blues lifted the coveted trophy.

So if you were at either the Wembley Final or the subsequent replay at Old Trafford and have some unique memories you would like to share with us, or perhaps if you have some great photos of your trip to Wembley, get in contact by emailing chelsea@programmemaster.co.uk

The match remains an iconic one for so many fans of that era as Dave Sexton's flamboyant Blues came out on top against Don Revie's uncompromising Leeds side.

1970 Final

Peter Bonetti's heroics in both matches kept the Blues in the contest, while Peter Houseman was an unlikely scorer in the first encounter before Ian Hutchinson's late goal took the tie to a replay

And at Old Trafford, a late equaliser by Peter Osgood - who scored in every round of the FA Cup that year - sent the match to extra-time before Dave Webb's dramatic headed winner.

In the article, we'll recall the highs and lows of both matches and catch up with some of the key players from the contest, but we also want the fans' memories so get in touch now if you rank the 1970 Cup Final as one of your all-time favourite encounters.
