Carlo Ancelotti, conscious an Inter side coached by Jose Mourinho will be tactically fluid on Tuesday night, believes the tie will be decided by how Chelsea play more than the Italian side's performance.

As was made clear before the first leg, there are few surprises left when the former AC Milan manager pits his wits against the former Chelsea manager and on the back of a morale-boosting big win against West Ham, the Blues are ready for anything.

'Inter tend to change formation often, even during the game,' agrees Ancelotti.

'We are used to this and may need some adjustment but what's important is we play our game, not adjust our formation to how they play.

'The last game against West Ham was important because we came back to play good football quickly, scored a lot of goals and that game improved our confidence.

'We know tomorrow we have to do our best, show better organisation, show better concentration than Inter and we are sure we will win if we do this. It will be difficult because Inter is a very strong team but if we do this we can win.'

Inter, with only two players in the starting line-up different from the first game against Chelsea, crashed 3-1 to lowly Catania on Friday. Ancelotti is taking little comfort from this, especially as the Serie A side have never lost back-to-back games under Mourinho.

'We will go out of our way to break that run,' promises the Chelsea manager.

'Losing their last game could put them under pressure but on the other hand the fact that they have now got to turnaround that result and react well can urge the players on to react immediately.

'We mustn't think about Inter being out of form. They have shown themselves to be a top quality team and are very strong. We have to prepare for an Inter team that is playing their best football.

'For Mourinho it will be a special evening and I think also the fans will give him a very good reception, he deserves to have this, but the match will be another thing.

'The players are not involved in this. All the Chelsea players and Inter players are focused on this game, an important game, and other things they are not interested in.'

Win, lose or draw, there is an ending to Tuesday night that is assured.

'For sure if Mourinho wants a glass of wine after the game we can have a good conversation,' announces Ancelotti. 'This will happen regardless of the result.'
