MOURINHO: I HAVE DOUBTS
Jose Mourinho, who once famously named the opposition's side ahead of a big Champions League tie with Barcelona, was not able to do the same for the Chelsea team.
Returning to Stamford Bridge, Mourinho was in good spirits as he sat in front of a throng of journalists waiting for him to stoke up the heat on the eve of the game.
'I can't do this,' admitted the Portuguese coach, 'the only thing I can do is prepare the game with all my qualities, with all my motivation.
'To read the game as best I can, to make the best possible decisions I can make and try to influence the game in the best possible way.
'Before the game and after the game, Chelsea is different and of course I have to be different, but during the 90 minutes, if somebody wants to win, I am probably that person.'
Mourinho also said he would not celebrate a victory in the manner of some of his famous Champions League wins in the past but that shouldn't be mistaken for a lack of desire.
When he got down to analysing the game ahead, he said: 'I don't know the Chelsea team.
'I have some doubts that only tomorrow, when I have the team sheet, I will know. I have doubts between Ricardo [Carvalho] and Alex, and between Zhirkov and Malouda on the left side.
'Between Kalou, Joe Cole and Malouda playing up front with Didier and Anelka, I have doubts. For sure, Carlo Ancelotti doesn't have doubts but I have doubts about their team. I don't have doubts about my team.'
Mourinho had earlier doubted Petr Cech's absence from the game, saying he wouldn't be surprised to see him appear on the team sheet. However, on the eve of the match, he accepts Ross Turnbull will be in goal.
'This story of playing with the third goalkeeper is a non-story because one thing I have is a good memory,' reported Mourinho.
'When I was Chelsea manager we played against Barcelona in the Champions League with our third goalkeeper in goal. Petr Cech was injured, Cudicini was injured and Hilario made his debut against Barcelona in the Champions League.
'We played two matches against Barcelona with our third keeper in goal, we beat Barcelona at Stamford Bridge and we drew in the Nou Camp.
'This is not a virgin story. This happens all over the world so I don't think this is a big problem, especially if you don't have a shot.'
Inter have left striker Mario Balotelli, who came on in the second leg of the firsf leg, at home.
