FENERBAHCE'S FORM
When Chelsea travel to Turkey for next week's Champions League clash against Fenerbahce it will be the first time we have faced the Turkish side.
It will also be the first time Fenerbahce have made it to the quarter-finals of Europe's elite competition, making them the second Turkish team to do so.
Fenerbahce currently preside at top of the Super League but with the same amount of points as rivals Galatasaray. Both teams have played 27 games with 18 wins, six draws and three loses.
Since Fenerbahce drew Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-final they have won both their games, beating Konyaspor, who are 14th in the table, 4-1 and winning 3-0 against Kasimpasa, who are sitting at the bottom on the Super League with 18 loses this season.
The first of these two games saw Fenerbahce secure three points from Konyaspor. Despite going 1-0 down to the hosts, goals from Semih Sentürk and former Blue Mateja Kezman ensured a four-goal comeback to keep Fenerbahce at the top of the league.
The Turkish champions' second win came when captain Alex de Souza began a trio of goals against bottom of the table Kasimpasaspor. Strikers Semih Sentürk and Deivid de Souza then added their names to the score-sheet, helping Fenerbahce to secure another three points for their title race campaign.
Fenerbahce will be hoping to prolong this season's perfect home run when they host the Blues next Wednesday (April 2). But the Blues will also be hoping to continue our record in the country as the last time Chelsea travelled to Turkey, in 1999, we thumped Galatasaray 5-0.
There are still tickets available for the second leg of the quarter-final when Fenerbahce travel to Stamford Bridge, for more information or to book your tickets online visit Ticket News. You can also see all the goals from our Champions League campaign or highlights from each game on Chelsea Plus now.
