Injured goalkeeper Petr Cech, in his first interview since suffering a face wound in a training ground accident, has indicated the healing process may be a quick one.

Cech required multiple stitches in a deep cut to his lower lip on Sunday but speaking to Chelsea TV for tonight's Blues News, which will be broadcast at 6.30pm, repeated at 10pm, he revealed:

'It looks much better, it feels much better and it is not that swollen. The recovery is going well at the moment.'

Also in the interview he discusses the situation regarding training, how far his recovery from an earlier ankle injury had gone and his current thoughts on a return to action.

Chelsea Plus will carry the interview from 6pm.

Later in the evening on Chelsea TV, the popular Paperview programme at 7pm invites journalists Ian McGarry from The Sun and Dave Woods from The Daily Star to give their slant on news concerning Chelsea and the football world over the last week.

The tabloid twosome will be putting their necks on the line by announcing who will win the Champions League and the Barclays Premier League title, having predicted a Chelsea v Barcelona final in Moscow.

They question Arsène Wenger in light of Arsenal's recent failures and ask themselves where Man United will drop points.

Closer to home McGarry, reveals in which positions he believes Chelsea will be buying over the summer; talks about a transfer target from Barcelona plus there is chat over Thierry Henry's future - is it in London? - and a possible surprise departure from Arsenal.

At 10.15pm there is another chance to see Carlo Cudicini 200 Not Out, the in-depth interview when our long-serving keeper, looking back on his Chelsea career - and then at 11pm, it's the full 90 minutes of this week's win over Fenerbahçe at the Bridge.
