Chelsea club doctor Bryan English talks about Petr Cech's facial injury in an extended Blues News tonight from 6.30pm.

English speaks about Cech's recovery after cutting his face during training and undergoing two hours of surgery on Sunday.

'It is looking quite good, stitches are to come out in about three to four days time,' said English while talking to Chelsea TV.

'When you have a deep cut, you have several layers that you need to sew back together again, so a lot of the stitches are deep in the skin as well as holding the skin back together.

'It was the depth that was a little bit more of a concern rather than the length of the cut,' he added.

Then youth coach Paul Clement looks ahead to tomorrow's youth game against Cardiff, when the Academy hosts the south Wales side at Cobham, before previewing next week's FA Youth Cup Final at the City of Manchester Stadium, when Chelsea youths face Manchester City youths in the second leg.
