Chelsea Football Club's chance to win trophies lies in the days ahead but our official club sponsor Samsung has already been presented with one honour.

At Thursday evening's Sports Industry Awards, Samsung picked up the award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign for their Chelsea-focused Passionate About Football drive.

From next season, Chelsea's shirts will carry the global company brand Samsung.

Our shirts and merchandise currently carries the company's Mobile Division brand, Samsung Mobile.

However the Korean multi-national has opted for the change, a measure of Chelsea's ability to deliver world wide exposure for our sponsors.

Last night's award was presented by former England rugby stars Richard Hill and Will Greenwood. It's the second year running that Samsung has picked up an accolade at the Industry Awards, this year held at Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park, venue for last year's Chelsea Player of the Year dinner.

In 2007, the company won Best Sponsor of a Team or Individual.

The award demonstrates the strong relationship between Chelsea and Samsung and coincides with the launch of the Samsung LCD TV Series 6 advertising featuring John Terry, Michael Essien, Nicolas Anelka and Petr Cech.

The new home kit will be worn for the first time by the team for the last Barclays Premier League game of the season against Bolton on May 11 at Stamford Bridge.

You can pre-order now from the Online Megastore. It is on sale to the public from May 8.
