UNCHANGED OPTION FOR KEEGAN
In similar fashion to Chelsea, Newcastle are relatively untroubled by injury for such a late stage in the season.
Senegalese midfielder Abdoulaye Faye (pictured) is expected to be available after missing last weekend's game against West Ham with a groin injury. Defender David Edgar, who suffered a head injury at Upton Park, is expected to recover in time.
Midfielder James Milner (foot) and defender Claudio Cacapa (groin) may also return to the squad. Keeper Shay Given (hernia) is out and full-back Stephen Carr (hamstring) is reported doubtful.
Despite their 12th place position in the league, Kevin Keegan predicts his side will be competitive against the Blues.
'It's an opportunity to test ourselves against the very best because it's the first time we have played a top side while we are in a good run,' the Newcastle manager told his club's official website.
'You can't say we're lacking confidence, you can't say we don't know where a goal is coming from and you can't say we are leaking goals all over the place. If Chelsea do win it will be because they deserve it and not because of a lack of effort on our behalf.
'I want my players to have a go and I know they will.
'Chelsea have had a great season and Avram Grant has done a great job, don't let anybody tell you otherwise,' the former England manager added.
