In the week Chelsea launched our new membership packages, the players have been speaking about the value they place on the fans' loyalty and support during games.

Now, with a wider range of membership options, there are packages for the 2008/09 season to suit the needs of every Blues fan, who, as the players are quick to point out, are the ones who can make the difference.

'The fans are the people who show their love; because they love you and they love the club, this is something we need, especially when we have big games,' says Didier Drogba.

There are four new membership packages available, all offering a unique scheme and raging from £25 to £42. Each gives priority access to tickets (home and away) and the chance to add your voice to the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge.

'Our home advantage is massive,' reckons Joe Cole. 'We get everyone behind us at Stamford Bridge, we have shown that in our record, 81 league games unbeaten now. All credit to everyone around the club for that, especially the fans.'

'You need the fans to keep going through to the last minute and kick us on,' adds Ashley Cole. 'We have scored important goals in the last minute and I think they are all down to the fans.'

The new memberships include True Blue Ticket Only (£25) and True Blue Magazine (£32), as well as True Blue Original (£42), which includes an exclusive Chelsea DVD and key-ring. There is also True Blue International (£42) for fans overseas who want to show their support.

'I was injured for a long time, eight months, and it was a difficult time for me,' explains Michael Ballack. 'But I was very happy when I came back and they gave me the fans gave me support. That was a high motivation for me in the last few games and I am very happy about it,'

Chelsea's unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge is not just down to the players.

'Everybody tells you - you play football for the passion, for the victories and for the fans,' says Petr Cech.

'If you have an empty stadium you can't really enjoy the game and it is true that if you have the fans behind you, supporting you, then that is all you need,' he added.
