MATCHDAY TRAVEL NEWS
If you are travelling to Stamford Bridge for Sunday's Barclays Premier League clash with Bolton then you may appreciate the following information.
Anyone planning to use the Underground to get to the game should be aware the District Line will be closed between Turnham Green and Richmond, there are replacement buses operating.
There is no service running between North Greenwich and Stratford on the Jubilee Line as engineering works are carried out. There will be a limited replacement bus service running between Stratford and North Greenwich, although fans are advised to use alternative public transport where possible.
Between Camden Town and Golders Green is closed on the Northern Line, there will be replacement buses running between Mornington Crescent, Camden Town, Golders Green and Finchley Road.
There will also be no service between Brixton, Highbury and Islington on the Victoria Line, there are replacement bus services running between Brixton and Victoria only. Blues fans are advised to use alternative public transport services where possible.
The entire East London Line is still closed as work is carried out upgrading it to the London Overground network.
Fans should also note there will be no trains stopping at Bank and Monument stations on the Northern, Waterloo and City, Central, District and Circle Lines as major escalator replacement works are carried out.
If you are travelling by National Rail services then be aware there will be no London Victoria to Dorking service running this Sunday. A replacement bus service will operate between Streatham Common and Sutton every 30 minutes.
National Rail services between Tulse Hill and Wimbledon are replaced by buses calling at Tooting and Haydons Road in both directions this Sunday, due to planned engineering works.
There is also engineering work between London Blackfriars and London Bridge meaning services between Bedford and Brighton will not be able to call at London Bridge because of engineering work between London Blackfriars and London Bridge.
Anyone using National Rail services are also advised to check their train's arrival and departure time on the National Rail website.
If you are planning to drive to the stadium then be aware, two-way traffic is still being maintained on Hammersmith Grove between Goldhawk Road and Beadon Road in northbound and southbound directions due to Thames Water works.
Lane restrictions are also in place on Wood Lane (Shepherds Bush) at the junction of Ariel Way, there may be delays in both northbound and southbound directions. There are also temporary traffic signals in operation on Wood Lane at the junction of Du Cane Road, which may result in delays in both the northbound and southbound directions.
There are still carriageway restrictions in eastbound and westbound directions at Scotch Corner (Chelsea) on the junction between Knightsbridge and Brompton Road due to gas, water and telecommunication works.
