Michael Ballack is the latest Chelsea player to have his selection confirmed for this summer's Euro 2008 tournament.

The German international captain has been named in a provisional squad by coach Joachim Löw but there is no place for former Chelsea defender Robert Huth, who suffered an injury-hit season at Middlesbrough.

Khalid Boulahrouz completes a season on-loan at Sevilla with a call-up to the Dutch provisional squad, a party that also includes ex-Blue Arjen Robben.

The latest selections follow on from three Chelsea players included by Portugal and Petr Cech named in the Czech Republic squad.

Bookmakers Paddy Power make Germany 4/1 favourites to win Euro 2008 with Portugal 7/1 and Czech Republic 14/1.
