>>A VILLAIN Jose Luis Calva, the fella who ate his girlfriend in Mexico. He's a bit of a villain.

>>A HERO The police who caught him. People out there like that scare me. I sleep better at nights knowing they've got him.

>>A GOOD CAUSE The charities I like to support are Richard House Hospice, CLIC Sargent and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

>>A BAD DEAL Bad deal, good deal. If Tal and Israel get a result against Russia I'm offering him and his family a holiday anywhere in the world they like!

>>A FANTASY Finishing the season with Champions League and Premier League winners' medals. There's realism in there too, I hope.

>>A STARK REALITY After the Russia game. You have to put football into perspective just to deal with it. I think everyone in the country was low, but we have to move on.

>> FIRST GOAL It will have to have been in the playground. You know what? I don't remember it. I remember scoring once just before the bell went to go back to lessons, I must have been five or six, and my team winning.

>>I PLAYED WITH HIM Joe Swash from EastEnders, he was in my Sunday team Chapel Market. He's probably a better actor than a footballer! I think he only scored one goal in four years. I remember we beat one team 27-0 and he scored. He went ballistic because it was his only ever goal. He was a good lad.

>>FIRST CAR A Volkswagen Golf when I was 17. I drove to Peterborough to see a mate the first day I got it. God knows how I got back without a crash.

>>A COACH Glenn Roeder had a big influence on my career at West Ham. He put a lot of faith in me.

>>FIRST TROPHY Probably a five-aside tournament, we used to play every summer, we had a good team and we had loads of trophies. They're in the house somewhere, but I don't show my trophies or shirts or anything, so I'm not even sure where they are.

>>REASON TO BE PROUD I'm proud of my sister. I can't say why, but she'll know.

>>FIRST MISTAKE Doing this interview!

>>HEARTACHE It's got to be Anfield. Just Anfield.

>>I COULD HAVE BEEN A CONTENDER It would probably have been working down the markets with my Dad. Ducking and diving! I was a Saturday boy a few times and I enjoyed working on the stalls. I sold all the manky melons on the side, a box for a pound. I knocked them all out. That was a proud moment for me. But then I started playing for my district team on Saturdays.

>>GOAL OF THE MONTH Alex at Middlesbrough. Great goal! A few of them in he next few years will make Chelsea fans happy.

>>SAVE OF THE MONTH I just bought a house and I got a few quid off at the last minute. That's save of the month!

>>ASSIST OF THE MONTH Frank's for Didier at Middlesbrough, a great move that opened up the game for us. It's great to have him back.

>>TACKLE/INTERCEPTION OF THE MONTH Anyone of Alex's at Middlesbrough, he had a great game.

>>MUG OF THE MONTH There's a few contenders! I don't want to say Billy because he always gets it. The Australian rugby team, it's always nice to beat them!
