The next Legends Tour is a very special Valentine's Day edition that sees Charlie Cooke back at Stamford Bridge on 14 February 2010. Bring your loved one and make it a very blue Valentine's Day at Stamford Bridge!
Charlie signed for Chelsea in April 1966 for a then club record of £72,000 as part of manager Tommy Docherty's restructuring of the side, which saw him take the place of Terry Venables. He made his debut in May 1966 during a 2-0 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup win over FC Barcelona.
In the early Seventies, Cooke was one of the star players in a flamboyant and glamorous Chelsea side, which included Peter Bonetti, Peter Osgood, Alan Hudson, Ron Harris and Ian Hutchinson.
The club won the FA Cup Final in 1970. The first game ended 2-2 and, as Chelsea trailed 1-0 in the replay at Old Trafford with the clock running down, it was Cooke's run and chipped pass that set up Osgood's famous diving header for the equaliser.
Chelsea eventually won 2-1 after extra time, bringing us our first FA Cup, and then the Cup Winners' Cup was added in 1971 with a replayed win over Real Madrid in Athens.
Legends Tours give a unique insight into the world of Chelsea from the eyes of stars that have called Stamford Bridge home. Learn how it feels to step out onto the pitch at Stamford Bridge in front of thousands of fans singing your name and listen to the interesting and always amusing stories from both on and off the field.
There will be plenty of photo and autograph opportunities and a buffet lunch is also included.
The Legends Tour costs £75 per person including a buffet lunch. Tours last approximately three hours.
