Ron Gourlay spent time chatting with the official Thai Supporters Club on Saturday, and spent an hour discussing a range of topics around the club.
During that time he was asked about potential transfer targets, the return of Jose Mourinho and Chelsea's plans in Asia, where we have now visited three times in the last six years during pre-season.
There was also laughter and a singalong when one fan thanked the Chief Executive for the club's decision to extend 'Super Frankie Lampard''s contract by another year, while another took it upon himself to show Gourlay the Chelsea tattoos on his back and chest.
Also present was the UEFA Europa League trophy, which proved a popular photo opportunity for the 80 or so supporters, three of whom were even lucky enough to walk away with signed Chelsea shirts after seeing their numbers come up in the raffle.
Afterwards, we spoke to Danilo Torresani, who heads up the Thailand club.
'It was brilliant. The people were very excited and nobody knew the trophy would be here,' he said. 'We are very proud to be here and speak with Mr Gourlay about the club.
'We are growing very fast and very happy to be the top Asian club in terms of membership. We have a lot of members, and thanks to the relationship with the club we have made a bridge between Asia and Europe - that is how it feels.'
