Cristian Cuevas

Cristian Cuevas joined from Chilean club O'Higgins in July 2013.

The 18-year-old signed a contract until 2018 having come through the youth ranks at O'Higgins, before breaking into the first team and playing in the top flight in Chile.

At the 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup he played in four of his nations' five games as Chile made it to the quarter-finals before losing to Ghana.

At 5ft 7in tall he plays primarily as a left-back but can also operate as a left-winger.

He began the 2013/14 season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands before moving on loan to Dutch second division club FC Eindhoven in early February.

Cuevas was also part of the Chile Under-21 squad at the Toulon Tournament, before signing for Universidad de Chile on loan in his homeland for the 2014/15 season.
