Ulises Davila

Chelsea
Born in Guadalajara on 13 April 1991, the Mexican Under-20 international was signed on a five-year contract from Chivas in his home country in August 2011.

Davila can play either as an attacking midfielder or a forward and standing 5ft 7in tall, he is accomplished with the ball at his feet and a fine finisher with a strong team ethic.

On joining Chelsea he was almost immediately loaned out to Vitesse Arnhem for a season, making three appearances for the Dutch side and catching the eye with a string of impressive displays for their reserves.

He spent the 2012/13 season on loan at Spanish second division team Sabadell where he established himself as a regular in the team and ended the season, and his spell at the club, having made 37 appearances and scoring five goals.

He remains in the same division in Spain for the 2013/14 season, this time at Cordoba.

International
Davila represented his country at the 2011 Under-20 World Cup in Colombia, helping them to a bronze medal with a goal in their 3-1 third-place play-off win over Gael Kakuta's France, and appearing in all seven of their competitive matches.

He received his first call up to the national senior side for the 2011 Copa America but did not feature in any matches.
