Dion Conroy

Born on 11 December 1995 in Redhill, Dion came as a trial player at Under-13 level, having previously been at Fulham. He began as a midfielder but quickly became a centre-back where he is strong and commanding. Now a first-year, he played seven youth games the previous season and scored his first goal at that level.

Conroy has enjoyed a solid season, featuring for both the Under-18s and Under-21s in the centre of defence.

The bulk of Conroy's appearances have come in the Under-18s' league campaign, although he has come off the bench three times in the FA Youth Cup.

Dermot Drummy, our Under-21s manager, has also called on his services on a number of occasions, with Conroy playing seven times for the Under-21s while also starting twice in the NextGen Series.
