Born on 10 April 1996 in Allerod, Denmark, Andreas was at Brondby for eight years before joining Chelsea ahead of many other clubs for the 2012/13 campaign.
A tall, ball-playing centre-back whose game is similar in style to Ricardo Carvalho, his father is a former professional goalkeeper.
The youngster has flourished this season and become a regular at the heart of the Blues defence. He scored our first goal of this season's FA Youth Cup campaign to inspire a fightback at Charlton after we'd fallen 2-0 behind, but it's at the other end of the pitch where he's really shone.
Christensen has played in all but two of our matches en route to the FA Youth Cup final, scoring the first of our three goals at Charlton in the fourth round, while his 11 appearances for the Under-21s underline a level of maturity in his play beyond his years.
Christensen was also a regular in the NextGen Series campaign which saw us reach the final and he has also represented Denmark Under-17s.
